Description

Abstract

This IDC Study from IDC Asia/Pacific' s Enterprise Infrastructure (EI) Practice considers the technologies and processes that will impact the EI segment in 2010 and makes 10 predictions. While cloud and related areas feature heavily, albeit with more focus on private cloud environments, security areas also feature prominently.

"Beyond APEJ, cloud computing was one of the more fundamental changes to computing models that emerged in 2009. As a concept, it is still in its infancy from an enterprise-readiness perspective; however, there are many aspects of cloud computing that are gaining interest within the enterprise datacenter," says Simon Piff, Director, Enterprise Infrastructure Practice.
